Re: SACGB Chair Report

This past week I finalized all the application materials and the board approved them in our meeting on Monday evening.  The website has now been updated with the new standing rules, bylaws, and application materials along with a sample.  I have been finalizing the application training agenda to present to the board this week so that they can be familiar with the material before we begin these trainings next week.  I have also been talking with Tony, in order to plan the SAC forum agenda.  I recommended that he work with Student Print’s, Lauren Davis to get some flyers that can be distributed to groups in their offices and to hand out at the trainings.  I also will be distributing these to the permanent tenants.  We will also be printing some layouts to discuss more tangibly, the designated areas of the building.

I have been in communication with CfLI to discuss their office use.  I presented again on SLSC Ad Hoc committee and the legislation was passed this week.  I have contacted the SSFC chair to get a timeline for our budget and have let Amy Timm know that we will have to have this finalized by December 20.  We will be meeting soon to get started on this.
